I can't link to my bank business account. When I go to bank website, username and password work fine, but not on QB online. Any Suggestion?

I want to make sure you’re able to link your bank account to QuickBooks, @sdisane.


There are times the accumulated cache in your browser causes sync and connection issues between your bank's website and QuickBooks. We can perform some steps so you can successfully link your bank account.


Start by accessing your QBO account in a private or incognito window. Please refer to the shortcut keys I've listed below:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P


Once you're in, head to the Banking or Transactions menu again. If you're able to connect without any issues, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to start over fresh. Alternatively, you can switch to other supported browsers.
