I canceled my account last month and I was just charged for another month. How do I remove credit card so I won't be charged for another month and/or delete my account?

You shouldn't get any charges once you've successfully canceled your account, grateful4animals. This isn't the kind of experience I want you to have. I'm here to ensure this gets investigated.

 

Since you're still charged after canceling your subscription, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. They have full access to your account and can review the log made in reference to the charge. They can also determine its main cause to ensure it won't happen again.

 

Here's how to contact our support:

 

  1. Go to the Help (?) icon at the top.
  2. On the Assistant tab, click Talk to a human.
  3. Enter your concern in the Type something field, then click the send icon.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Get help from a human.
  6. You can either select the Chat with us or Have us call you option.

 

As for deleting your account, you can purge your data. This is only available for books that are less than 60 days old. If your file is beyond that period, not to worry, we'll delete your data after one year.

 

In case you'd like to resubscribe to QuickBooks Online, you can easily reactivate your account in the program. Then, you can start working on your file again.
