Your bank’s connection may be interrupted for any of the following reasons:
If there is a minor or major update in your bank information such as the bank account number.
Update on your bank’s website. If you can't find your FI, you can request support for your bank and request it be added.
Update your Online Banking Login credentials.
Bank outage and other scheduled maintenance.
To get this sorted out, as an initial step, you'll want to visit your bank's website and copy its URL. Then, paste it in the Connect an account window's search box. This will let you log in to your correct bank. Here's how:
Select your bank. If you see multiple options, you may have to repeat these steps to find the correct one.
Enter your bank login on your bank's website, then select Continue.
Once connected, QuickBooks will automatically download your most recent transactions. I recommend editing, assigning, and categorizing your transactions. Also, you can match them to the existing entries in the software. Doing so will help you ensure the accuracy of your financial records.
