I cannot get transactions to come over from a Bank of America Visa Credit Card corporate account.

I'd like to help and make sure you can download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

We can sign in to your bank's website first to check if there are issues on their end. This way, you can also check if there are messages or notification from your bank that needs attention.

 

Let me show you how to get the URL QuickBooks uses to connect:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Link account.
  3. Search for your bank and select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed for your bank.
  5. Paste the URL on your browser, and then sign in to your bank or credit card website.
     

Once you're able to sign in, you can check for any notifications, alerts, or any announcements for new security requirements. If everything looks fine, you can follow these steps to update and sync the bank's data:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Click on the Update button.

On the other hand, if you recently update any information on your bank's website such as account number, username, or password for any reason. You can follow these steps below on how to update it in QuickBooks as well:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Banking tab.
  3. Select the tile for the bank account. Then select the Edit ✎ icon.
  4. Click on Edit sign-in info.
  5. Update your info as needed.

Thanks for that info, I already have my account connected. I believe the issue in on the Bank of America side, but all they do is kick me over to Quickbooks support.  I think I have a work around.

 

My business has a BOA CC account (parent) and then under that there are two individuals in the company that have cards (child accounts) Matt and Daniel. In QBO I have each of the three accounts connected, the parent account pulls the current total balance on the card, but no transactions come through. Each child account pulls the total balance for the current month only on each card and the transactions do come through.

 

I would much prefer to simply connect to the main parent account and get the current total balance and all the transactions no matter what card (child account) was used.

 

Again, I think this is a bank issue. I read some comments to an old QBO post where someone had similar issues and they tried and tried with BOA to get it fixed and just kept getting referred to QBO.  Thanks anyway.

This is EXACTLY the issue I am facing. What is the work-around?

 

Bank of America has a Parent Corporate Account that I pay and two Child Mastercard Accounts that show the Charges.  The Child Accounts do not have statements to reconcile and the Parent Account does not download the charges.  I need to make each Child Accounts a sub-account of the Parent Corporate Account but QuickBooks does not allow that because the Child Accounts are already connected to Bank Of America.  How should this be handled?
