I deleted a transaction and now it is causing me problems but I don't know what i deleted to try and recreate it

Hi, @lori79.

 

I'll help you find a way to see it. You can use utilize the Audit log to view and recreate what has been deleted.

 

Let me show you how:

  1. Select the Gear icon on the top right.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit log.
  3. Click Filter and then choose All users in the User drop-down, change the Date to This week if you deleted it during this week.
  4. Tick Show all events and then Apply the changes.
  5. Find the transaction in question and then select View on the History column to verify the details.

  6. Go back to Audit log window and then select the transaction to recreate it.

Once you click the estimate/journal entry/payment/invoice/expense/bill transaction, it will retrieve all the details. Then select Save and new.
