Question

I do not want the add a new transaction when I go into the Bank Register. I do a stop it?

It does it automatic at the bottom and I want to be at the top, so I can filter my transaction.

It's nice to see you posting here in the Community, @userted.

 

You can disconnect the bank account from online banking to get rid of the bank data downloading automatically. But before doing so, ensure to add the remaining transactions from the For Review tab. You can check out this article for a guide: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

 

After that, follow these steps:

  1. In the left menu, click Banking/Transactions
  2. Click the Edit (pencilicon on the account that you want to disconnect.
  3. Select Edit account info.
  4. In the Account window, check the Disconnect this account on save box.
  5. Click Save and Close.

Once the account is disconnected, it will no longer download transactions automatically.
