I entered a deposit from a credit card but it never showed in my account how can i track if i might have entered it as a check be mistake instead of by card

You can run the Audit Log to trace the transactions you've entered in your QuickBooks Online account.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
   
2. Select Filter.
3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate User, Date, or Events filter to narrow the results.
   
4. Click anywhere to refresh.

There are also a few reports that you can pull up to show the information you need. Among these are the following:

• Deposit Detail report (shows all the deposits made)
• Check Detail report (shows all the checks made)

Here's how to run the above mentioned:

1. Go to Reports.
2. Enter the name of the report (Deposit Detail or Check Detail).
3. Customize the filters to show the information you need.
4. Click Run report.
