Question

I exported my QBD (Premier Non-profit 2019) data to my new QBO on June 3rd, but kept using QBD. How do I get last 3 months of QBD data uploaded to QBO?

You haven't registered a new transaction with your QBO since converting your data on June 3rd, correct? I would recommend to sign up for a new blank QBO account to convert your existing data from QBD and cancel your old QBO account. It will be much easier than to migrate data manually.

I'll help you move your data, CEFDelco.

If you haven't added new transactions to your QuickBooks Online account for the last three months, I'd suggest following Fiat Lux's suggestion. This way, the data will be transferred correctly.

Beforehand, we'll need to cancel your current QuickBooks Online company.

Then, let's start a new one. Here's how:

  1. Sign up for QuickBooks Online.
  2. Enter your user ID and password. You can use the same user ID and password as before.
  3. If you use payroll, add Payroll in Step 2 of the sign-up process.
  4. Add the necessary details of the account.

Once done, move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

Aside from that, we can also export your data using an Excel file. Then, import them to QuickBooks Online

For more details about what you can move to the online version, I'd suggest browsing this article: Common Questions About Importing Data to QuickBooks Online.
