Question

I got a phishing email saying QBO had lost connection with my bank. (They mentioned my bank by name.) How did they know that bank was connected to QBO? Intuit breach?

Keeping your account safe is one of our top priorities, @mark-mhb-associa.

All official Intuit websites end in *intuit.com. A few examples include quickbooks.intuit.com, e3.intuit.com, and click.notifications.intuit.com. Also, all our emails come from an email address that ends with @Intuit.com or @e.Intuit.com.

If you suspect you have acquired a phishing email, we have a website where you can report it. Here's how:

  1. Go to this link; https://security.intuit.com/.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.

To guide you on how you can protect your account and how we keep your data secure, I recommend checking these articles:

Don't hesitate to post again if you have other questions or concerns with QuickBooks. I'm always around, ready to help. Take care and stay safe!
