Question

I had an incident of insufficient funds on my account while paying contractors. Since than I fixed everything. Can I apply to get back the instant deposits?

Yes, you can apply for an instant deposit after resolving insufficient funds in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Alisa. I'll provide details below.
 
Before you can create any payments, you'll need to add your company's bank details and your contractor's direct deposit info. Once ready, follow the steps to request for a faster funding time:
 
  1. Go the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Payroll settings.
  3. Click Edit in the Direct deposit section.
  4. Select Request same-day payroll, then follow the prompts.

 

Take note that customers who were moved to 5-day funding due to non-sufficient funds (NSF) hold must complete 6 months of payrolls without NSFs before they can request a change. If you need still need more help in sending the request, feel free reach out to our QuickBooks Payroll Support Team.
