I have a check and CC Payments that are showing as a deposit and it is an expense is there a way to change it? Credit C showing 2x for same charge?

I know how you can modify the categorization of the transactions.

QuickBooks is dependent on what your bank provides. If the check and credit card payments are expense transactions, you can recategorize them.

Here's how:

1. From the Banking tab, select Banking.
2. Locate the transactions under For review.
3. Select the correct category on the Category field.
4. Click Add.

As for the duplicate credit card charges, you may delete them if they're invalid transactions. You can use your bank's statement to check if the duplicate items are valid.
