Once you've signed up for and been approved for QuickBooks Payment and QuickBooks Checking, you can use the mobile check deposit to deposit funds into QuickBooks Checking.
The following are the steps to take:
Sign in to your QuickBooks Online app from a mobile device.
Click Cash Flow.
From QuickBooks Checking balance, select Send Money.
Select Deposit checks. Note: If you don't see the option or if it's unavailable, it means you aren’t eligible yet.
Enter the check amount.
Sign your name on the back of the check and write “For mobile deposit only” under your signature.
Take photos of the front and back of your check.
Review the check amount and confirm the check images are clear. Retake the photos if necessary.
If everything looks good, select Finish depositing.

You can also use a third-party app for scanning in QuickBooks Online. It allows users to scan files, such as invoices or receipts, directly to new Expense Transactions in QuickBooks Online without the need for scanning software. You can also try it for free on your QuickBooks account.
