Welcome to the Community space, tmepperson8582. Let me share some information to fix the deposit and payment of the same transaction on your bank feeds.

Please know that a single bank transaction is synced as either a deposit or payment in the Bank Feeds and not both. Your financial institution controls how and what transactions are sent to the program. Therefore, QuickBooks is reliant on the data from your bank. You may also need to reach out to your bank and inquire about why the deposits are also shown as payments.

In the meantime, you can exclude the duplicate payment and categorize the correct deposit again. This will ensure that your books always match your real-life statements. Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping.
  2. Choose Transactions, then select Bank transactions.
  3. Click the tile of the appropriate account, then head to the For review tab.
  4. Tick the checkbox of the identical payments and tap the Exclude option.
  5. Click the correct transaction to expand the view, then categorize or match it again.
