Question

I have a lawn fertilizing company and buy different products in spring, summer, fall, etc. Where do I specify what I bought on the transaction so it shows on QB?

I need to be able to see how many bags a bought of each thing from year to year

If you are buying in bulk, then if you have plus or higher, use inventory items for what you buy

otherwise use non inventory items, that will allow you to report on the number of bags without stocking them
