I have a transaction that automatically uploaded from my bank that's dated 1/4/2021, but it's supposed to be recorded as 2020 income. How can I manually change the date?

You've come to the right place, @carmine-rauso.

 

I can walk you through the steps of modifying a transaction that was automatically uploaded to your feed.

 

To start, you must first add or match the transactions in the For Review tab. See the photo below as your guide:

 

 

 

Then you can make manual changes to your bank register:

 

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and open your Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click View register to open the bank register where the transaction came from.
  3. Locate and open the transaction you want to edit.
  4. Select Edit and change the date.
  5. Once done, click Save and new.
