I have a transaction that said payment in review, for more info check your email. I didn't receive an email regarding this, does anyone know what that means?

I'll make sure you can check the transactions for review and share some details about it, @justwickinaround.

 

There might be details from that payment that needs to be reviewed. The email we sent to you gives specific steps on how to get it sorted out. There are times that we'll ask for more info so we can complete our review. 

 

Usually, we can complete the review within five business days for new accounts. Within that period, we set up your merchant account. This could be the reason you're unable to receive an email for the payment. To learn more about this process, check out this article: Find Out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Your Money. 

 

After we review the payment, it will automatically deposit into your bank account. 

 

In your case, I suggest logging into your Merchant account to see more details about the payment status. Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Click Activities & Reports and select Deposits.
  3. Select the date range in the Dates field.
  4. Click Search.
  5. Look for the payment and go to the Fee column.
  6. Click the drop-down list to review the details. 

 

Aside from that, you can contact our QuickBooks Payments support if your account isn't new. They can look at your Merchant account and give you more details about the transaction status and when will the payments get deposited into your bank. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to this website: Contact Payments Support.
  2. Find the QuickBooks Online Payments & Merchant Service Center section. 
  3. Get their up-to-date contact information to call them.

If you paid for an item but never received it, or it arrived damaged, you may be frustrated and want your money back, justifiably. As a result, you may try to dispute it with your credit card issuer through the process of a chargeback.

I had the same thing happen, I am honestly pissed at qb as well fir saying the check the people who are selling stuff but don’t actually do so considering I’m apparently not the first person with this problem, I should sue for false advertisement, matter of fact I probably will if I don’t get my money back for the stuff I paid for through quick books website.

    This is the most insane thing that I had ever experienced  in modern software.  QB holding my payment of 20k that I desperately need for my business and telling me nothing except check your email that never received.  This is beyond unacceptable, I can’t believe QB is still in business.  There is no email received people, I’m shouting this out loud, can’t you hear me?

      I'm having the same problem, with a much smaller amount. "Payment is in Review." By whom? Why? If there is an actionable item I'm supposed to perform, I should be told, and not by an invisible email I never received.

      1. Click the Help button in the top right corner.
      2. Select Contact Us.

      Whoever wrote this QB software should have thought that maybe people didn’t receive the email and provide some ways to resolve in the software itself / ask for additional verification right there and then if you are worried about security but I have been running around calling my bank calling my client wondering what the hell is going on and then finally discovering the message in qbonline that money is in review check email, the most insane message ever because there is no stupid email, I even called my ISP and fought with them telling them I have an extremely important email that they must have deleted somehow.  Please fix the problem qb or I’m out with no ever return .
