I have a transaction that shows one amount in the list of descriptions but another amount when I open it to categorize so I can't resolve it.

Is there a way to manually address this?

Hi there, @meghan-adoptionl. I want to ensure you'll be able to categorize the transactions correctly in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To start, may I ask for a screenshot of the description page you are referring to? This is to ensure that I can provide an accurate solution to help resolve your transactions.

 

In the meantime, let's first review your bank statement to check if the transaction flows correctly in QBO. To do so, you can sign in to your bank website and download a copy of the statement. If not, you can exclude those entries and manually import the correct transactions via CSV files. 

 

Once transactions are in, you can now match and categorize them in QBO.
