I have an American Express Business Card that is linked up with my QB, but only a few transactions automatically show in Quickbooks. Anyone know why? or how to fix?

By card initially showed transactions, but the I realized it stopped registering transactions. I have no idea why.

Let's work together, Ashley. To figure out why only a few transactions are showing in your register.

 

When you link your bank account, QuickBooks will download transactions from specific dates within the last 90 days or three months. That's why there are only a few transactions downloaded to your register.

 

Nonetheless, if you wish to view past transactions in your register, use the manual upload option. Let me share how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Import.
  2. Select Import transactions.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Select Import.

 

Also, if you notice that the latest available transaction didn't download in your register, you can manually refresh the update in your bank.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Bank accounts.
  3. Click Refresh all.
