Question

I have an apple card, it's not supported by quickbooks as an automatically imported account. How can I add the card to my account list so I can download and manually import my transactions to quickbooks, but have them kept under that card?

Thanks for posting here, @joeyde

I'm here to share some steps so you can add your apple card in QBO. To do so, you can create an account in your Chart of Accounts for your apple card. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Select the Account type and Detail type.
  4. Enter an account name. Example: Apple card.
  5. Click Save and close when done.

For more info about the process, visit this link: Add an account to your chart of accounts in QuickBooks Online.

When finished, you can manually upload the transactions using a CSV file. For the detailed steps, see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

Once transactions are in, you'll now need to categorize and match them in QuickBooks. This process ensures your transactions are under the correct account.

Don't hesitate to post again here if you have further concerns about adding an account to QuickBooks. I'm always here to help. Keep safe.
