Question

I have an issued when cancelled card transactions were duplicated on the new card. This causes duplicate Quickbooks entries for the same expense. How do I correct?

Is it acceptable to Exclude the duplicate transactions?

Hello there, dede.burke.

 

Yes, we'll need to exclude the duplicate transactions. If the transactions are still showing in the For Review tab, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Banking or Transactions on the left panel.
  2. Within the Banking tab, tick all the duplicate transactions.
  3. Then, click Exclude.

 

If these duplicates are already matched, we'll have to go to the Categorize section. From there, undo the duplicate and follow the same steps above to exclude them.
