Question

I have duplicate entries in my register and they are marked that they were downloaded from the bank. How do I remove them?

I'm here to help you remove these duplicate entries, seniorscomplete.

 

To do this, let's exclude the downloaded transactions in the For Review tab. Here's how:

 

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select the For review tab.
  3. Place a checkmark in the checkboxes beside the transactions.
  4. From the Batch actions drop-down, choose Exclude Selected.

 

If these duplicates are already accepted or matched, I suggest following these steps: 

  1. In the left navigation tab, click on Banking.
  2. In the Categorize tab, select the duplicate transactions. 
  3. Click on Undo.
  4. Switch the tab under For review, then select the same transaction
  5. Click on Exclude.

You can delete these transactions by going to the Excluded tab. Locate these duplicates, then click on the Delete button.
