Hi there, @gilj1266.

Welcome to the Community. I can share some clarification about the QuickBooks income account.

Yes, you can use the money in your QuickBooks Cash account. You can either transfer the funds to your connected bank account or use it to pay bills.

To transfer:

  1. Go to the Cash Flow menu.
  2. Visit the QuickBooks Cash tab.
  3. In the Get or send money dropdown, select Transfer money.
  4. Choose your QuickBooks Cash account.
  5. From the To field, select the plus (+) sign , then select your connected bank account.
  6. Enter the amount you wish to move out of your QuickBooks Cash account.
  7. When you're ready, select Finalize transfer.

If you want to pay bills using the QuickBooks Cash account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Cash Flow menu.
  2. Visit the QuickBooks Cash tab.
  3. In the Get or send money dropdown, select Pay a bill.
  4. Follow the prompts on the screen to schedule and pay via paper check or ACH.

Once approved with QuickBooks Cash, you'll also get a debit card. You can use it to withdraw money from ATMs and make purchases.
