Question

I have many receipts that I owe an employee and want to add them as an account payable. Can these be imported from an Excel file and not manually entered?

Welcome to the Community, Georgi.

Let me share details regarding the receipts you'll upload to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

You can upload multiple receipts in your QBO account through your mobile device, from your computer or Google Drive, and then further categorize them on your computer. However, you cannot import them through an Excel file. If you want to pursue importing them through Excel, you can check third-party apps and then integrate them into your QBO.

Here's how you can check apps to integrate in your QBO:

1. At the right panel of your screen, select Apps.

2. Click on the Find apps tab.

3. Enter a specific app name in the search bar or choose the Browse category tab.

Furthermore, scan this article to learn more about uploading your receipts: Upload your receipt in QuickBooks Online.

You can also email your expense receipts and bills and get them in QBO. In doing that, you can check this article: Email receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.

Don't hesitate to comment below if you have additional concerns with uploading your receipts in QBO. I'll be here to assist you at any time.
