Question

I have run the company data export routine for import into QBDT. I have received a confirming email that it is ready, I do not see any link for the file.

Intuit sent a confirming email, but not where the link can be found in QBO: Dear Bruce Roach, Congratulations! Your QuickBooks Online Advanced data for OfficeMart, Inc. is ready to be downloaded. 1. Please go to https://qbo.intuit.com/ and log onto OfficeMart, Inc.. 2. Click the task or to do item called "Download the company file created on 02/08/2021". 3. Follow the onscreen instructions. Best regards, The QuickBooks Online Advanced Team http://quickbooksonline.intuit.com

Before following the steps provided on the email you received, I'd recommend logging in first to your account. The link on the email will direct you to your company once you follow the provided steps.

 

You can also follow Step 3 in this article to restore the backup copy of your company file: Back up and restore your QuickBooks Online Advanced company (formerly ChronoBooks).

 

Keep us posted if you encounter unexpected issues when restoring the file. Additional details would be much appreciated.
