I have some bank transactions that have not been imported into Quickbooks Online. How do I fix this?

I am unsure at this time how many transactions are effected by this problem. I found several, but not all, in one bank statement.

We can keep your banking records organized and complete by importing your transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO), Mike. I'll walk you through the steps to ensure everything goes smoothly.

To start, get the transactions from your bank and download CSV files of your data. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Financial Institution (FI) website.
  2. Follow the instructions provided by your bank to download CSV files of the entries to your computer.
  3. Check the date range. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions and save the file where you can easily find it.

Next, check the file format and size first to make sure they're correct before you upload it. Then, open your bank statement and compare it with your bank entries to determine which ones to add to QBO.

When you're ready, manually upload the entries. For detailed instructions, head to Step 4 in this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online

Now that your transactions are in QuickBooks, it’s a good idea to match and categorize them. You can also create bank rules to streamline the categorization process. Furthermore, reconcile the account regularly to stay on top of your financial records.
