I have Square connected to my Quickbooks Online. My App Transactions have started to come in as individual transactions instead of a summary. Is there any fix to this?

I've checked and my app settings are set to summary transactions. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting to Square multiple times, but my transactions still come over as individual transactions each time.

How transactions are being downloaded in QuickBooks depends on your financial service platform. It's possible that there is an issue with Square and might be the reason why your transactions comes in as individually instead of a summary even after updating your app's settings.

 

To address this, I recommend reaching out to their phone support. They have the expertise to guide you toward an appropriate solution and ensure your transactions are downloaded correctly into QuickBooks.

 

In the meantime, I'd suggest manually enter sales your transactions into QuickBooks Online and excluding the incorrect ones in the App transactions menu.

 

Once they're are updated in QuickBooks, the next step is to match and categorize them. The transactions go into your accounts after you review them.
