I'll work with you to help you resolve and find the missing tags in your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account, @cbalk01-gmail-co.

A cache-related issue in the browser can sometimes cause a tag to suddenly vanished or prevent one from showing up on transactions. To isolate this matter, you can perform some troubleshooting steps.

You can start by pulling up your QBSE account using a private browser (incognito). Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

Once signed in, tag your transactions again. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu.
  2. Find and select the transaction you want to tag to open its details.
  3. In the Tags field, choose the appropriate tag.
  4. Click Save. Repeat the process as needed.

I've attached a screenshot below for your reference.

If the tags show up properly, return to your default browser and clear its cache. This will refresh the system and remove older data that causes viewing and performances issue. However, if this matter continues, I'd recommend using other supported browsers.

After categorizing and tagging your transactions, you can start managing your estimated taxes.

Please keep me posted on how it goes. Don't hesitate to comment below if you have further tagging concerns in QBSE. Take care, and wishing you continued success.
