I have a deposit transaction 2 months old that I undid in order to correct. However, now I don't see the correct payments in the Match Transaction window in order to match them. Is there a way I can find them manually? I checked the date and account for the payments and they appear to be correct.

I'm here to help you find the deposit transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @info-lsnyderlaw-

You can run a report to look for the specific deposit in QBO. Follow along below to get this done right away:

  1. In your QBO account, navigate to the Reports menu.
  2. Next, scroll down to the Sales and customers section and select the Deposit Detail report.
  3. Click the report to open and set the correct Report period date.
  4. Select the Run report button and look for the deposit transaction.
  5. Open the transaction to make some corrections and make sure that it is posted to the correct account so you can easily match it.
  6. Click Save and close when finished.

If you still can't see the transaction in the Match Transaction window, I recommend checking this article to fix it. To get started, please proceed to the Match with an existing transaction section under Step 2: Review and categorize downloaded transactions.

I've also attached this additional guide for matching transactions in QBO, feel free to browse this link: Tips for Working in QuickBooks Online’s Bank Feed: Matching Transactions.

Once everything is fine and you're ready to reconcile your account to ensure the balance matches your real-life bank statement, check out this workflow for the detailed instructions: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.

Keep me posted on how this goes. If you have any other concerns about matching deposit transactions in QBO, please don't hesitate to leave a reply. I'm just around the corner and ready to help. Have a good day ahead.
