I can show you how to reconcile an account in QuickBooks, greenplanetclean.

It depends on your business presence, in QuickBooks we recommend reconciling your accounts every month. You'll just need to have your bank statement and then compare it to the transactions recorded, added, or matched in the system.

If you're reconciling an account for the first time, review the opening balance. Just ensure that it matched the balance in your real-life bank account for the day you decided to start tracking transactions in QuickBooks.

Let me show you how to start reconciling:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and click Reconcile.
  2. Select the account you want to reconcile and ensure that it's the same one on your statement.
  3. Review the beginning balance and it should match the same amount in your bank statement.
  4. Enter the ending balance and date.
  5. Once you're ready, click Start reconciling

Simply compare the transactions on your statement with what's in QuickBooks. For more detail in the reconciliation process, you can use this link: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online. In the article, you can also check out the next steps after reconciling such as printing and exporting reconciliation reports.

Feel free to mention me in your reply if there's anything else that you need help with reconciling an account. Take care and keep safe!
