Question

I import bills as batch transactions. QBO tells me that I need to correct the issues in red. However, there are NO red issues. Does anyone else have this same problem?

Only item that shows in red is the exclamation mark, and when I hover my mouse over it, says "please select account for this transaction". However, I've already selected "Bills" as the transaction type. I am stuck.

Based on the error, we need to assign an account for the bill. I've attached a sample screenshot that shows the required details when we import them into QuickBooks Online.

 

Since transaction type and account are different, let's select an account. I have taken the screenshot from the article of the other region since importing bills in the US isn't available for now.

 

With that, I'd like to ask for additional details and a screenshot. Can you share the steps you did when importing bills? This way, I can see the problem and provide you solution to this. Please cover the important details of the screenshots.

 

Though, error occurs when there's a browser-related issue. If that's the case, we can fix it using an incognito window. This prevents your browser from storing additional cache files. Here's how:

  • Safari: Command + Option + P
