I imported csv files of transactions. Import appeared to be successful but transactions are not showing neither did it changed Income/Spending numbers. What did I do wron

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, towigerm5. I'll be sharing details on how importing transactions works in QuickBooks Self Employed. Then, ensure you'll be able to achieve your goal.

When manually importing transactions in QuickBooks Self Employed, you'll have to ensure to use the right format and map the entries accurately. With this, it could be the reason why transactions are not showing up in the transactions tab nor did it change any business Income/Spending numbers. 

I recommend reviewing the CSV file if there are actual transactions from there and the format of the CSV file that you're importing to ensure it's formatted correctly. This way, we can ensure that the Date, Description, and Amount columns on the CSV file match the columns and order in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). Also, you'll have to check if the file has blank lines, if it does, delete them. Then, make sure to select the column header labels (from the dropdowns) that match the column header labels in your CSV file. Once everything is set, you can reimport the transactions in QuickBooks Self Employed. Then, you can now categorize the transactions so your entries are put on the correct line of your Schedule C.
