I imported my QB desktop company file into QB online during a trial period, then subscribed but that created a new company file. How do I import data from the trial?

It seems that you've created another company instead of subscribing to the trial account. To transfer the data, you'll gonna have to move your lists first by exporting them from the old QBO and importing them to the new one.

Alternatively, you can reimport your QuickBooks Desktop company file within 60 days after signing up to QuickBooks Online. Once done, you may connect your bank or credit card accounts to download your business transactions.
