Hello there, Colleenhui.

Let's do a manual update to refresh the online banking connection. This troubleshooting step allows you to download the most recent entries.

Before we proceed, can you provide the name of your Financial Institution (FI)? Also, did you receive any error codes or messages? This is to check if we have a reported issue.

When you're ready, let's go to the Banking page and update the account. Here's how you can get there:

  1. In your company, navigate to the Transactions menu on the left panel and choose Banking.
  2. Head to the Banking tab and click the Update button in the upper right.
  3. Next, go to the For review section to find the missing transactions.

If you continue to get the same result, perform Steps 2 up to 4 outlined in this article: What to do if you can’t find downloaded transactions in QuickBooks Online. It includes some videos that will visually guide you through the process.

Once you have the transactions, classify them into the correct category to keep your records in order. If you encounter an online banking error, utilize this article to help you resolve it: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions.

You can save the banking guide to your browser for future use. It covers topics such as account reconciliation, depositing funds, managing bank feeds, and so on.

Please keep me updated in the comments section if you have any further questions or concerns about QuickBooks. I'm always available to answer them. Enjoy the rest of the day.

Good to see you here, @dnakarting. I'm here to help you bring your transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO) so you can categorize them into the correct accounts.

I looked through our data and discovered that we haven't had any such transactions with Chase Bank that didn't download. For now, you can manually update your bank to acquire the most recent transactions. This is how you do it:

  1. Select Banking or Transactions from the sidebar menu.
  2. Head to the Banking tab.
  3. Choose the appropriate bank account.
  4. Select Update.

I've got you an article for more details: How to Manually Update Bank Accounts. For duplicate transactions, you can exclude and delete them to entirely remove them from your books.

You may also, sign in to your bank’s website to check for alerts or any announcements which can potentially block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. If you updated anything on your bank’s website, like your account number, username, or password, update QuickBooks as well.

Additionally, I'll share these resources that will help you download your bank transactions as a CSV file so you can categorize them:

Let me know if there’s anything else that I can assist with about your bank transactions by leaving a comment below. I’m always here to help. Take care.
