Question

I just moved to Quickbooks Online. I can't see all the transactions. The dates are May 14-June 13, but I can't see anything before June 1.

Welcome to the Community, @Beachcomber2.

Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online to help you grow your business. I'm here to share some insights about the missing transactions.

For the missing transactions before June 1, you can manually add them to QuickBooks Online or reimport the transactions. Select the missing transactions to avoid duplication.

Here's how to manually upload transactions for accounts connected to online banking:

  1. You can either go to Bank transactions or Bookkeeping, then Transactions, and then pick Bank transactions.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account of the transactions you want to submit.
  3. Then choose Upload from file from the dropdown menu next to Link account.
  4. Click Browse, then pick the bank file you downloaded from there. Next, choose Next.
  5. Choose the account you wish to upload the transactions into from the QuickBooks account dropdown. Then, select Next.
  6. Match the columns on the file with the appropriate fields in QuickBooks. Follow onscreen instructions. And, choose Next.
  7. Select which transactions you want to import. Then, choose Next.
  8. Click Yes.
  9. Choose Let's go.

You can also manually upload transactions for accounts not connected to online banking.

Once done, match and categorize them before reconciling to ensure your books are accurate and there aren't any duplicate transactions.
