Hi, there haslag918. I can show you the steps for categorizing each transaction in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When categorizing bank transactions, you can review them by accessing the Transactions tab in your bank account.

If you haven't added any transactions in QuickBooks yet, you can add them from your bank feeds. Ensure to assign it to the correct category before you add them.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions. Click Bank transactions.
  2. Click the tile where you want to review your transactions.
  3. Under the For Review tab, select the transactions.
  4. Click the transaction, then change the category under Account by choosing one from the dropdown.
  5. Click Add.

Once done, you can locate them under the Categorized tab.

If you've recorded your transactions in QBO, you can match them to avoid duplicate entries. Refer to this article to learn how to match transactions in QBO: Match online bank transactions in QBO.

I'll also add this article for you to have detailed steps on categorizing transactions in QBO: Categorize online bank transactions in QBO.

Furthermore, you can refer to this article to learn how to automatically categorize bank transactions from your bank: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QBO.
