I logged into my quickbooks online account and my entire view is completely dIifferent. I am missing a dashboard and all my quick links. Is QB down?

We'll go through some troubleshooting steps so that you can see the Dashboard and quick links in your company, accounting.

 

Before we start, did you see the following error message on your Dashboard "Something isn't working. Please refresh the page or try again later". If yes, this issue is already reported to our engineers and is urgently being worked on.

 

We recommend all affected users to reach out to our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Care Team.  Then, sign up to the notification list so you'll receive updates on the progress of the investigation.

 

If you didn't receive the error stated above, let's check your homepage and ensure the Privacy mode is turned off. Here's how:

  1. Open your QBO company.
  2. From there, click the Dashboards menu on the left panel and select Home.
  3. In the Privacy section, move the slider to the left to show the financial information on your dashboard.

If you still encounter the same issue, sign in to QBO in private browsing or incognito mode to check if a webpage is preventing the information from appearing in your company. Use the following shortcut keys to open one:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari 11 or newer: Press ⌘ + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + P.

If this resolves the issue, clear the cache and cookies to free up space on your device and address loading issues with web pages. Using another supported browser is a great alternative too.
