Thanks for sharing your banking concerns with us, @garyjuly4. I'm here to help ensure your second credit/card account is connected to your QuickBooks company.

There are a few potential causes for your inability to link the bank in QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  • Your bank doesn't connect to all types of accounts (for example, personal accounts vs. business accounts)
  • Your bank is not a participating financial institution

In your case, we can search the banking login URL to ensure you are using the exact listing.

Here's how:

  1. Open another broswer and log in to your bank's website.
  2. Once logged in, copy the URL link, then sign out of the financial institution's website.
  3. Go back to your QuickBooks Online banking page.
  4. Paste the URL link to search your bank.
  5. Select your bank and start connecting from there.

After trying all the options matching your bank's name and still can't connect, or if your bank doesn’t appear, I'd suggest requesting support for your bank.

You can follow Step 3: Request support for your bank oulined in this help article: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.

For future reference, follow this article in case you'll need some help in fixing pecific bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Keep in touch if you have additional issues in connecting your credit/bank account. I'll be around to help you more.

@garyjuly4

Another option, utilize MT Online as a workaround. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
