I'm set up for automatic payments for the weekends as well. I have a payment but it won't let me instantly deposit it. Why? How do I get my money?

I appreciate that you chose to share your concerns here, Smitherman. Let me pin point a few information why automatic payment isn't deposited in QuickBooks Online.

If your payment isn’t available for instant deposit, here are a few reasons:

  • QBO may flag transactions for review if they seem unusual or out of the ordinary.
  • Certain payment methods or amounts may have specific processing times that prevent instant deposits.
  • If there’s a problem with the customer’s payment (like insufficient funds), it might affect your deposit.

Since this payment is from a frequent customer, the system still flag it for review if there are recent changes. To check the status of your instant deposit, I recommend calling our QuickBooks Payment support team. This way, they can review your customer payment.

After that, regularly check your email for updates regarding your customer payments. Staying informed about payment notifications can help you manage your cash flow effectively and address any issues promptly.
