I'm trying to categorize my bank transactions but I'm missing about 4 months worth. I've updated it several times but they are still missing, can I find them somewhere?

Welcome to the Community, Jessica. I'm here to help you look for your missing bank transactions in your QuickBooks Online account.

Before that, I'd like to ask what bank your transactions are from. This way, I can check on our end if there's an ongoing issue between the bank and QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Furthermore, review your uncategorized accounts in the Chart of Accounts, as some missing transactions may be there. To do so, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
2. Look for the Uncategorized Income or Uncategorized Expenses account.
3. Click on Run Report.
4. Find the missing transaction on the report.

After confirming that the bank transactions aren't in the Uncategorized sections of the Chart of Accounts, I suggest manually importing them to your account. To do this, log in to your bank websites and download a CSV file of your bank transactions. Look for the option to export your transaction history, and then select the CSV format. Once finished, follow the steps beneath to upload the bank transactions to QBO:

1. Go to the Banking transactions and choose the bank on the blue tiles for the account you want to upload the transactions.
2. Click the Link account dropdown, then select Upload from the file.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen steps to align the columns in the file with the corresponding fields in QuickBooks.
4. Tap on Yes, then Let's go.
