Question

I'm trying to edit the income category of a reconciled transaction. I've followed steps in this forum, but It is still showing an error when i try to adjust it?

I am getting the error that says 'You can't edit this field from here. In some cases, you can edit it by clicking the edit button.'

unfortunately that does not work, any help?

Hi derek-papercraft,

 

Instead of editing the category in the field, you'll want to click Edit to open the transaction edit page. Then, modify the category and click Save and close. I'm just curious though. Is it a deposit? Was it matched to a transaction?
