Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, Jen. Let's troubleshoot your browser so you can upload a CSV file of your bank transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

In some cases, too much cache buildup in a browser produces unexpected behavior with the product. Let's clean this up by opening your account in a private window. Please use the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

Then, upload the CSV files again. Once resolved, you can return to your regular browser and clear its cache or switch to a different supported browser. It could be a short-term issue with QBSE or the window you're using.

Alternatively, you can drag and drop the file in the Choose File box to upload your CSV.

Moreover, here's a guide to learn about Schedule C categories and how to categorize transactions in QBSE: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Solopreneur and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know in the comments below if you need further assistance importing your bank transactions into QBSE. We're always here to assist you. Keep safe, and have a good one.
