I'm unable to make transfers of any amount from my Quickbooks Cash acct to my main checking acct at another bank. I get an "Hmm that didn't work" message. Help?

I am trying to initiate a transfer for $50,000, the maximum allowed per day for outgoing transfers but continue to get the same error message. It says to check my bank info and balance details and try again. All of my information is correct, but the transfer still will not go through. And I've now reached the maximum account balance so that any more payments to this account are being rejected. How do I fix this asap?

I want to make sure you can transfer money from your QuickBooks Cash account to your checking account.

 

One possible reason you're getting an error when transferring money from your QuickBooks Cash account is due to the browser data issue. To verify, let login to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. To do so, press this shortcut key on your keyboard to open a private browser:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

Once logged in, go back to the Cash Flow menu and process the transfer again. If this works, it means that you need to clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different one.

 

If the issue persists, I suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Payments Team. This way, they can further check on this matter and provide additional troubleshooting steps to get this fixed.
