I'm unable to update Chase Credit Card balances with Update button. Other Chase accounts are fine. Is this really an issue with Chase?

I'd like to help you out in updating your bank.

 

To verify, did you encounter an error message after clicking the update? If not, please make sure to sign in to your bank’s website and check the following:

 

  • Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  • Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  • Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

If everything looks good, we can perform some basic troubleshooting steps. This is to rule out any browser-related issue since it's only affecting a certain account. 

 

Sometimes, a corrupted file cache stored in your browser might be the reason why you're getting an unusual behavior in the Banking page.

 

Let's start by opening your QuickBooks Online account on a private browser or incognito. This mode will not save your browsing history.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Next, go to Transactions > Banking and click the Update button. If you're able to update and new transactions are downloaded, we can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing cache fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

 

Finally, restart your browser to refresh the settings. Alternatively, try using a different supported browser.
