Question

I'm using Quickbooks Online and have an Apple Credit Card. I can't connect the card to QBO, so I want to import the transactions. How do I import the .qbo files?

I've already created the Apple Card in my Chart of Accounts.

Importing your bank transactions takes only a few steps to complete and I'm here to guide you with the process, Melissimaus.

You'll have to sign in to the Apple Credit Card website to download your bank transactions. Your bank may offer a few file formats, make sure to select the QBO format. To upload transactions, follow the steps below.

  1. In QuickBooks Online, go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select Upload transactions.
  3. Select Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
  4. In the QuickBooks account ▼  dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Next.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Next.
  7. Select Yes.
  8. When you're ready, select Let's go.

I've included this article in case you need the detailed steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. After you've added the transactions, you can add and match transactions in QuickBooks Online. I was able to get help, but this reply did not work for me. I don't have a transactions menu, and the option described above does not appear under the banking menu.
