I'm here to provide some steps on how to manually add a transaction to your credit card account in QuickBooks, @michael-kidd9.

We can enter an expense manually to your account register. This way, the charge will show on your review of transactions and reconcile your account afterwards.

Here's how:

  1. Proceed to Settings ⚙ and choose Chart of accounts.
  2. Locate the account register you want to review.
  3. Click View register from the Actions column.
  4. At the very top of the list, choose the Add journal entry, Add check, or Add deposit ▼ dropdown menu.
  5. Select Expense.

  6. Fill out the fields to complete the transaction.
  7. Once done, click Save.

Then, check if the transaction was added successfully. You can also review this article on how to locate transactions in your account registers so you can review or edit them: Find, review, and edit transactions in account registers in QuickBooks Online.

Once everything is settled, you can start reconciling your account so they always match your bank and credit card statements.

Feel free to comment in this thread if you have further questions about adding a transaction manually in QuickBooks. I'll be happy to lend a helping hand. Stay safe!
