Although you cannot delete a product or service, you can mark them as inactive. That way you don't lose any information that may be attached to a product or service but it won't clutter things up either.
An inactive product or service will no longer show in reports and in any other place that displays it. It shows as "Name of the inactive product or service (deleted)" in transactions. Here's what you need to do:
Go to Settings ⚙, then select Products and Services.
Find the product or service that you want to make inactive.
From the Action column ▼ dropdown menu, select Make inactive.
Select Yes.
Note: You can’t inactivate default items (automatically created with the company) such as Services and Hours. Instead, you can add Z at the beginning to make them appear at the bottom of lists.
