Hello lazylhauling21-g!

I understand that you need to enter some transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed. Let me help you.

The Banking feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed allows us to automatically download the bank transactions. If you need to import older ones, you may bring them in manually using a CSV file from your bank. Check this link for the detailed steps: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Once done, you can categorize those transactions. This is the basis as to how they reflect on your Schedule C.

You may also add them individually. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transaction menu and select Add Transaction.
  2. Enter the amount and a description.
  3. Click the Select a category menu and choose the best category to organize your transaction.
  4. Tap Save.

If those transactions you want to separate are personal ones, you can tag them as Personal. Personal transactions include all those not part of your self-employed business.

For more references on what to do with the bank transactions, please visit this page: QBSE Banking.

I'm just a post away if you need more help. I'll be here!
