Welcome to the Community! I'll go over how you can link your bank account to QuickBooks Online.

To connect to a bank in QBO, I've got a couple of steps for you to follow. Here's how:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, then choose Transactions.
  2. Select Bank transactions, or go to Banking.
  3. If this is the first bank account you’ve set up, select Connect account or Link account if you already created one.
  4. From the search field, enter the name of your bank, credit card, or credit union. Please know that if you're unable to find your bank but still want to add your transactions, you can manually upload your bank transactions.
  5. Click Continue and sign in to your bank with your user ID and password.
  6. Follow the on-screen steps. It might include security checks your bank requires. It could take a few minutes to connect.
  7. Choose the accounts you want to connect, then select the account type dropdown. Choose the account type that matches your chart of accounts in QuickBooks.
  8. Then, tick Connect when settled.

You can choose how far back you want to download transactions. Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Thus, others can go back as far as 24 months.

If you can’t find your bank but want to add your transactions, you still have the option to import those transactions manually in QBO. Please visit this resource for guidance: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
