Greetings, @ekitzerow. We are thrilled to have you join our Community space and appreciate your visit to our forum. It is our pleasure to assist you with viewing your account assignments for transactions since the beginning of the year in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can run three reports to generate and view the accounts and how they were coded in QuickBooks Online. Let me guide you through the process.

We can generate a Transaction Detail by Account Report which provides detailed information about each transaction within a specific account. It is useful for understanding the specifics of transactions affecting each account. Includes information such as transaction date, type, number, and amount, as well as the accounts involved in each transaction. Here's how to run Transaction Detail by Account Report:

  1. At the left navigation panel, go to Reports.
  2. In the Standard tab, under the For my accountant, click Transaction Detail by Account.
  3. Or in the search tab, type in Transaction Detail by Account.
  4. Under the Report period dropdown, select All Dates.

However, if you want to access the Account List Report, which provides a summary of all accounts set up in QBO, including each account's type, balance, and other basic details, you can do so by following the steps below:

  1. At the gear icon, go to Chart of accounts.
  2. At the upper left corner of your screen select Run report.
  3. Click Switch to Classic View and click Customize
  4. Under the Filter dropdown arrow, check the created date box and choose All Dates.

Additionally, you can access the Journal Report in QuickBooks Online, which gives a detailed view of all journal entries made in your account. The report shows information such as the date, transaction type, account, and the debit or credit amounts of each entry. This feature allows you to review all journal entries, accounting transactions recording debits and credits directly into accounts:

  1. In the Reports tab, type in Journal.
  2. Click to Switch to classic view.
  3. Under the Report period, click All Dates.

Moreover, here's an article to help you get the most out of your financial reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

In case you want to use reports outside of QuickBooks in the future, you can export them to Excel. For more details, see this article: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online.

I'm only a comment away if you have any questions throughout the process of running reports in QBO or any QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be happy to lend a hand. Take care and enjoy your weekend!
