Yes, there's another way to include your prior transactions, @usermelissacrosby.

 

When your bank limits the download for a specific reporting period, you can get transactions from your bank's website. Then follow the bank's instructions on how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer.

 

Ensure to pick the date range for the download. It should be January 1, 2020, to the day before the date of the oldest transaction from your previous download in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Once you get the prior transactions, upload them to QBO. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Banking on the left panel.
  2. Select the File Upload button.
  3. Click the Browse button and choose the CSV file.
  4. Select or add the bank account where you want to post the bank transactions.
  5. Click Next and map the fields. 
  6. Select Next and then Let's go!.
